On this particular trip, La Spezia (on the northern part of the west coastline) was 100% on the cards to visit.  With it’s charming villages, buildings and beautiful waters, this has become a haven for expensive boat charters, a home for superyacht builders and a wonderful playground in the sun for people of all budgets. From the spring through to the end of the summer, the sun-kissed waters of this area are an incredible site.
