Cycling Hotel Linder – Selva di Val Gardena / Dolomites
We chose to stay for one night at Hotel Linder due to the fantastic reviews both on TripAdvisor and on Google local. Clearly there’s a lot of positivity and good things to talk about. The hotel is situated in a fantastic location with easy access to its incredible underground parking. The hotel itself really stands out in the crowd and was fully rebuilt in 2020. The hotel’s architecture is remarkable and very different from the traditional Alpine design, but also fits in very well with its neighbours. When first talking to the staff on the telephone, it was clear that this was both a premium establishment and also a friendly organisation at the same time. We were offered a wonderful price for the one evening during the low season period, and prices of food in the restaurant are also reasonable considering the high quality of service.
We had a standard size room which was fully equipped and very well designed with high-quality fixtures and fittings. There are definitely no complaints from us in terms of comfort and luxury. The hotel obviously has the word cycling in its name and this is a big feature of the establishment, as well as being a wonderful place to stay during the winter season. The hotel boasts bike storage and also the possibility to hire an electric mountain bike, saving time with hire companies, and enabling you to get straight out on the trails from the hotel. Currently the price of the bike rental is €69 per day and the bikes rented are high specification, Specialized E mountain bikes.
Now, then… The hotel spa and leisure facilities! Saving the best until last! The hotel has an incredible indoor infinity pool with sauna and steam room facilities. The pool area and also the rest of the spa level within the hotel are absolutely gorgeous and have been built using the latest architectural design and high quality materials. The pool fittings are all stainless steel and above the pool is a black vinyl ceiling which mirrors everything in a fantastic dark tone.
There is no extra charge to use the leisure facilities which is good and a real bonus when staying at the property. The hotel is listed as three star, but we definitely think it deserves the fourth! All in all, we highly recommend The Linder Cycling Hotel. Definitely one to visit when touring the Dolomites.
