La Tana dell Orso – Ponte di Legno / Incredible Nature Spa
The name of the hotel translated to English is “The Bear’s Lair”. We previously stopped for lunch at this hotel and restaurant in 2021 but didn’t have the option of using all the facilities or staying. The hotel is just a stone’s throw north of the town and is actually on the Ski Piste which is also the Mountain Bike Trail! This means that if you stay in the hotel, technically it’s ski in / ski out, which is incredible. Cycling Hotel Linder – Selva di Val Gardena / Dolomites
We chose to stay for one night at Hotel Linder due to the fantastic reviews both on TripAdvisor and on Google local. Clearly there’s a lot of positivity and good things to talk about. The hotel is situated in a fantastic location with easy access to its incredible underground parking. The hotel itself really stands out in the crowd and was fully rebuilt in 2020. Lerici / La Spezia / Porto Venere / Boat Rental
These are some of the easiest places to reach the sea in the north of Italy. A couple of hours from Milan, and you can reach the sea. Although it’s not the Amalfi coast, it’s pretty impressive. Water Sports day and Lunch on Lake Garda
Lake Garda is a fantastic place to be. You can be surrounded by wonderful people, fantastic restaurants, theme parks, and so much more. Due to the huge size of the lake everything feels a bit more free and easy and the rules seem to be a bit more relaxed. If you were driving from Lecco to Bergamo, you would surely pass by this fantastic pizzeria. It’s clearly got a great reputation by the locals and has a strong brand presence. Lake Lecco / Como – Watersports / Jet Ski
Lake Lecco and Como are all part of the same water and together they form a huge upside down Y on the map. First of all, we can tell you that there is so much to do on the lake. In our opinion the Como side is more posh, and generally will cost more money to do things or visit restaurants etc. This is because everybody knows Como. LE FORNACI – BOAT / JET SKI LAUNCHING
It can be really difficult to find somewhere to launch a small boat or jet ski on Lake Garda. There are many public launching areas, certainly around the south of the lake that are often unusable. Generally this is because the water level can be so low compared to previous years and some of the ends of the launching ramps don’t even make it to the water. Many are part of big chain operations but also there is a huge number of independent sushi restaurants.
